Calvary is a family of individuals that have found hope, forgiveness, and freedom from the bondage of sin, because of Jesus' great love for us. We simply want as many people as posible to experience that same freedom.”
Calvary Chapel Landers started out as Landers Community Church, it was built on prayer and established by the Lord back in 1962, in 2002 it bacame Calvary Chapel Landers.
We are a non-denominational church where everyone is welcome to come experience the word of God. We teach through the Bible, book by book chapter by chapter and verse by verse. We believe in teaching the whole council of God, teaching the Old Testament through the len's of the New Testament.
Romans 15:4 (NKJV) For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
What's the bottom line? Love! More than ever Calvary Chapel is committed to preaching the gospel, leading people to salvation in Christ, to teaching the Word of God faithfully, encouraging believers to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus. We are comitted to fostering a family built around Jesus our hope, a hope for change, a hope for a future, a hope of progress, so that we can live victoriously in Christ Jesus.
